The Old Farmer and His Long Worker

A farmer and his workmen were walking through the forest when they came face to face with a bear. Before the old farmer could cry out, the bear had him. The bear laid him on the ground and touched him here and there. Turns out the bear was trying to pick a good spot. It seemed that the old farmer was in danger.

"Scjepan, come quickly, you can't leave him alone!" The old farmer struggled to call to his long worker to help him.

Hearing his master's cries, Stepan grabbed an axe and struck the bear in the head with all his strength. Then he stabbed the bear in the stomach with a steel fork. At that moment, the old farmer got up from the ground, and the bear was already barking.

The old farmer got up and looked at the bear. He saw that the bear's head had been cut in two and there was a big hole in its belly. Then he cried out again: "Silly Stepan, how you've spoiled a good bearskin! How dare you laugh!"

When someone gives us a helping hand when our life is in danger, we should be grateful to him instead of forgetting the kindness for the sake of profit.

老农夫和他的长工

农夫和他家的长工在森林里走看的时候，迎面碰上了一只熊。还没等老农夫叫喊，熊已经抓住了他。只见熊把他放到地上，摸摸这儿，又动动那儿。原来熊是想挑个好地方下手。看来老农夫危在旦夕了。

“斯杰潘，快来啊，你可不能见死不救啊！” 老农夫挣扎着喊他的长工来救他。

斯杰潘听到了主人的叫喊声，就抢起一把斧头，用尽全身力气朝熊脑袋上砍去，之后，他又用钢叉刺穿了熊的肚子。这时候，老农夫从地上爬了起来，那只熊已经一命呜呼了。

老农夫起身看了看那只熊，发现熊的脑袋已经被砍成了两半，肚皮上还有一个硕大的窟窿。于是，他又喊起来：“愚蠢的斯杰潘，看你干的好事，好好的一张熊皮就这样被你给糟蹋了！你还好意思笑！ ”

当他人在我们的生命遭遇危险而伸出援助之手时，我们应当对他心怀感激，而不应该为了利益而忘记恩情。
